A Level
- Development-focused environment emphasizing skill learning
- Equal playing time for all players
- Less emphasis on competition
- 3-4 times per week commitment
- Players play and learn multiple positions
- Games played within local area for 11U
- City-wide games for 13U - 18U
AA Level
- Competitive level requiring 4-5 times per week commitment
- Baseball is priority over other activities for players and families
- Strong parent involvement required
- City-wide games with possible out-of-town tournaments
AAA Level
- Highest competitive level in Manitoba
- Baseball is priority over other activities for players and families
- 20-28 league games plus 3-4 tournaments
- Strong parent involvement required
- Province-wide travel for games and tournament travel expected

Practices at all levels may be on any day of the week as determined by coaches and diamond availability.
Games may be played on any day of the week, with the days shown below being the most common per age/level.
11U (Born 2015-2016)
- A Level: games on Tuesday, Thursday and/or Sunday
- AA Level: games on Tuesday, Thursday and/or Sunday
- Season runs late April through mid-July
13U (Born 2013-2014)
- A Level: games on Monday, Wednesday and/or Sunday
- AA Level: games on Monday, Wednesday and/or Sunday
- AAA Level: games on Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday
- Season runs late April through mid-July with AAA provincials on the August long weekend
- Possible travel to Western Canadian Championships mid-August
15U (Born 2011-2012)
- A Level: Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday
- AA Level: Monday, Wednesday, Sunday
- AAA Level: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Season runs late April through mid-July with AAA provincials on the August long weekend
- Possible travel to Western Canadian Championships mid-August
18U (Born 2008-2010)
- A Level: Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday
- AA Level: Monday, Wednesday, Sunday
- AAA Level: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Season runs late April through July
- Possible travel to Western Canadian Championships mid-August

Registration Fees 2026
Base Registration fees
- 11U: $245
- 13U: $255
- 15U: $265
- 18U: $275
- AA/AAA Tryouts (Optional): $30 for 11U AA and $60 for all other age groups
Additional AA Fees
- West Winnipeg A's AA Fee: $110
- Volunteer Bond**: $500 per player (post-dated cheque)
- Jersey* (player-owned): $75
Additional AAA Fees
- West Winnipeg A's AAA Fee: $300
- Volunteer Bond**: $500 per player (post-dated cheque)
- Home/Away Jerseys*: $150
*Jerseys: AA/AAA players may use the same jersey year over year as long as it still fits and is wearable .
**Volunteer Bond: In order to maintain our facilities at Optimist Park and foster community spirit, AA/AAA families are required to contribute a minimum of 12 volunteer hours per player throughout the season. This volunteer bond not only helps keep our park in top condition but creates lasting connections within the A's family.- Families with multiple players have prorated hours and fees (e.g., two players = 18 hours / $750, three players = 24 hours / $1,000)
- Examples of volunteer opportunities:
- Staffing the canteen and BBQ
- Serving as Diamond Captain during tournaments
- Teams hosting tournaments/provincial weekends for their age group may be asked to go over the 12 hrs to ensure those weekends run smoothly.

- Baseball glove
- Batting helmet with working chin strap (11U-13U)
- Athletic supporter
- Labeled water bottle
- Baseball pants (Grey for A teams, White for AA/AAA)
Recommended Equipment
- Batting gloves
- Baseball shoes
- 11U-13U: Rubber/plastic cleats only
- 15U-18U: Rubber, plastic, or metal cleats allowed
